 The Drums

I like to practice drumming at home because I can do what ever I want and no one really cares. I put in headphones and listen to songs that have a nice drum beat or songs that are complicated and will take me a while but not to hard. When I was young I was not the best drummer but people have said I was good for my age and that when I get older I would get better. If I had to pick one thing I play that I like the best then I would have to say drumming because you can be freer then you can on other instruments like trumpet or piano. I have been playing drums for a long time so I started a blog about it. It gives information about drums and drumming stores and where they are cheap not to expensive, it gives you a link to order magazines to order to your house and a lot of the songs I like to listen to and play drums to.

The Piano

I started playing piano a while after I started playing drums but I never liked it as much as I liked to play the drums because I never really learned how to read music like the stuff that I see when I look at sheet music for songs life break even or the Catalyst I look at it and I have no clue except for maybe one note what it is. When I was young I used to play piano a lot because I was taking lessons but now that I don’t take lessons any more I love to play the drums. When I started playing piano I had a teacher teach me when I was playing drums I never had a teacher I taught my self and from what people are saying I guess I’m a pretty good teacher. I can’t say that piano has not helped me with anything though. It has helped me with typing since I was playing piano when I was young I was not the best type when I started playing piano more I started being able to move my fingers faster and now I can type much better. When I played piano I always made up songs but never got the time or knew how to write it down on music to make a song that I can publish.

The Trumpet

What made me want to play trumpet is at school I was at this concert and their was a band and my mom told me to go because it would help me pick what I want to play when I go to band next year so I went and I saw the trumpet I told her that’s what I wanted to play I now realize that was a big mistake. When you first start playing trumpet it tickles your lips it feels so weird but you get used to it. Trumpet is the last thing that I learned after I learned piano I really don’t want to do trumpet because it is hard trying to get a high C and if you don’t you get yelled at with drums your hitting a drum the most you can do is maybe play on a rest or do the sticking wrong. I wish I could switch but I cant its to late I’m stuck worth trumpet now but their are some things trumpet has helped me with like to hold my breath underwater for a longer time because in trumpet you may have to hold a note for a long time and that is the same for in the water except for the trumpet part you have to hold your breath.

The Computer

The computer is my second favorite thing to do I really like to type or write stuff on Microsoft word. I like technology in general so computers are just something I like. I really like to help people with stuff so knowing a lot about computers is good so you can help people with them. But I don’t like all computers pacifically I like maces. To me they are the easiest kind of computer or laptop there is but that is not the case for everyone I know some about PCs but more about Mac’s. When I go on computers I learn how to type better and faster then I used to I make mistakes but I can just go back and edit it. When you can type fast, their are games you can play that have to do with typing and get a high score and everything. The second thing about typing is you can get work done faster when you type faster, so if you have a lot of work to do when you type fast and know what your going to say you can get it done faster.
