when you drum you get Blisters?

Hi
I have heard when people drum they get blisters? I have did some research and I found that if you relax your hands and don't grip to hard on the stick it will go away. If you get blisters in your hands after drumming I suggest you take a break relax your hands for a couple of days until they go away or until they don't hurt. Then when you go to drum relax and don't grip your sticks to hard. One of the things I do to avoid this problem is get drumming gloves I put them on when I drum and I still don't grip the sticks hard. I also heard using rubber helps for sometime but after a while it makes it worse. So what I would do is just relax your hands get some gloves and don't grip your sticks and you should be good.
Good luck!
