In this blog I am going to talk about what I did to become a better drummer and why I wanted to become a drummer.
What made me want to become a drummer is the music I listened to I started drumming when I was four years old and I heard this instrument on the radio and I asked my sister what that noise was and she said those are drums and I did not know what those were so I looked them up and they were the coolest things I ever saw so I got my dad and he looked at them and said we can go to the store and you can pick out a drum set and put it on your Christmas list. So we did and on that Christmas when I saw that drum set downstairs in my basement I was the happiest kid ever. I played on it everyday and I had that set until 2010 April 14 witch is my birthday and I traded it in at guitar center the new one I got is red and much better its Birch wood studio sound. It sound great and much better at guitar center they are now selling my set for 260$ the one I got was 1,000$ but with the discount it was only 700$. Until this day witch I just got off my drum set I was playing the song holiday the drums for that song are awesome.

To get better I would use these sound proof head phones and play the drums with any song it helps you get better it really does but the downside is if the song is in the end or faint or song with hard drumming involved, you want to here your drums to make sure your doing it right and so you start drumming harder and I turn my head phones up all the way so I can here the drums in the song and then right at that moment the drum sticks break if your drumming in public then you should have glass in front of you just so if your stick breaks it doesn't hit someone in the face I have made that mistake before those things travel far and keep going until something or someone stops them. Any way the main point is don't drum hard on your drums you can break a drum stick or a drum head and if you do one of those things and you don’t have the protection then your in trouble.
